Locality:Alto Uruguai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Lustrous transparent red-orange citrine quartz, known in the trade as Madeira Citrine for it's deep color. These citrine crystal clusters started as amethyst quartz which was heated to alter the color. Heat-treated. Ex. Miller #M283, originally acquired in 1983
